1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering, or using the Keepsafe website (keepsafe.ng) or mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Keepsafe provides a secure workplace onboarding and workforce registry system. We facilitate government ID lookups (NIN Slip, Passport, or Driver's License), biometric liveness matching (using the Dojah SDK), and worker rating dashboards inside the Keepsafe Mobile App for Nigerian employers.
3. Employer Obligations & Consent
Organizations participating in the Keepsafe pilot program must adhere to the following rules:
- Lawful Onboarding: Employers must obtain explicit, documented consent from their employees before initiating any background verification checks or processing identity documents.
- Registration Accuracy: Employers must provide accurate CAC business credentials, RC Numbers, and office addresses during registry registration.
- Authorized Use: You may only verify candidate details for legitimate right-to-work, tax, or employment-relationship validation processes.
4. Biometric & Liveness Consent
Biometric Consent Statement
By participating in the verification check on the Keepsafe app, employees and candidates explicitly consent to the collection and processing of their biometric data (including facial photographs, liveness video sweeps, and facial landmarks) via our security processor, Dojah Inc.
Biometric data is compared strictly against database photos (NIMC for NIN Slips) for identity verification and is disposed of in accordance with our data retention timelines.
5. Pilot Service Disclaimer
Keepsafe is currently provided as a free pilot service for Nigerian businesses.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". KEEPSAFE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING SERVICE ACCURACY, SYSTEM UP-TIME, OR DATABASE RESPONSE SPEEDS. DATA VERIFICATIONS DEPEND ON GOVERNMENT REGISTRY NETWORKS AND LICENSED THIRD-PARTY PIPELINES.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keepsafe Integrated Services Ltd, its directors, DPO, and developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this service.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with jurisdiction in Lagos State.
